Dominion Technologies Group, one of the world’s leading suppliers of final line tooling and equipment for the automobile manufacturing industry, is pleased to announce the opening of our newest state-of-the-art, Advanced Controls Engineering and Technical Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The addition will expand Dominions’ controls and software engineering capabilities, while positioning Dominion to better serve our customers.

“With the new location, we will be able to enhance the presence of Dominion Technologies and position the company for future growth in high-tech software design for our existing products and future automation needs from all sectors of manufacturing,” said Ed Lashier, CEO and President of Dominion Technologies Group.

The new Auburn Hills facility will be Dominions’ fourth location globally, joining the Roseville Headquarters, the Essex, England Manufacturing Center opened in 1996, and the Beijing, China Manufacturing Center opened in 2008. The new Auburn Hills facility will focus on controls and software engineering, while the Dominion headquarters will continue to focus on mechanical engineering and manufacturing.

“Our immediate goal is to add controls and software engineers to our team,” said Doug Doyle, General Manager of Dominion Technologies Group. “Our company is expanding at an exponential rate, the Auburn Hills facility is an example of this, but more importantly the new facility will make Dominion better located to serve our customers, while expanding our capabilities.”

“The new location will help Dominion produce more accurate and on-time designs,” said Ken Vallis, manager of the new facility. “I am excited to be a part of the progression of Dominion, and I cannot wait to exceed our customers’ expectations with the new facility.”

Stay tuned as we continue to update you on the progression of Dominions’ newest facility.
